Old Salem Museum & Gardens: Tannenberg Organ Concert
A historic instrument is the centerpiece of this concert from a meticulously preserved site near downtown Winston-Salem, NC. David Tannenberg built the organ in 1800 for Home Moravian Church. It was in storage for almost 90 years before being restored and installed at the visitor’s center of Old Salem Museum and Gardens, where it is featured in regular performances of a popular concert series. Then we head to another charming location, Charleston, South Carolina for highlights from a choral concert performed at Circular Congregational Church during Piccolo Spoleto Festival 2015.
